General Questions

What is non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT)?

Non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) is a professional transportation service designed for patients who need to travel to and from medical appointments but do not require emergency 911 ambulance services. NEMT is ideal for individuals with mobility challenges, those recovering from surgery, dialysis patients, seniors, and anyone who needs safe, reliable transportation to healthcare facilities. Unlike emergency services, NEMT is scheduled in advance and provides comfortable, door-to-door service with trained drivers who assist patients throughout the journey.
